Arcady Khotin, the founder of Arcadia, has left the position of the General Director which he was holding since the foundation of the company 17 years ago. The new General Director appointed is Sergei Baklan, former Executive Director of the company (since 1998). Arcady Khotin, as the main shareholder, is going to take part in the strategic management of the company.

Despite the hard economic situation, the company kept its key clients and continued a slow, but steady growth. At the same time, Arcadia continued investing in employee qualification and improving marketing strategy — in spite of a burden of the office relocation.

After 2009 New Year celebrations and vacations, Arcadia, Inc. returned to work and summed up the achievements of 2008 year. In June, 2008, Arcadia, one of the leading software developers in St. Petersburg, has opened a regional department in Petrozavodsk (Republic of Karelia).
