Arcadia, ZAO has finished the project of University ITMO students` training “Quality assurance in a SCRUM team developing business applications” performed with assistance of “RUSSOFT” association. 15 students went through the course; later they are going to have internship in the company as well.

Arcady Khotin, the founder of Arcadia, has left the position of the General Director which he was holding since the foundation of the company 17 years ago. The new General Director appointed is Sergei Baklan, former Executive Director of the company (since 1998). Arcady Khotin, as the main shareholder, is going to take part in the strategic management of the company.

Arcadia, ZAO, one of the leading custom software developers, summed up the results of 2009. Despite the hard economic situation, the company kept its key clients and continued a slow, but steady growth. At the same time, Arcadia continued investing in employee qualification and improving marketing strategy — in spite of a burden of the office relocation.

According to the old good tradition, at the end of year Arcadians gathered to celebrate the coming New Year, to thank the old year for everything and (of course!) to demonstrate their talents in some new areas.
