On November 21 Arcadia, Inc., one of the leading custom software development and IT-consulting companies of St. Petersburg, opened its doors to European students again. Arcadia’s participation in learning programs of foreign universities has become a good tradition. A group of European students from Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences visited Arcadia, Inc., during their study tour to St. Petersburg. Top-managers of Arcadia, Inc. visited Petrozavodsk to meet personally the employees of the new office and tell them about the company and work processes. The office, which opened in June, has already hired 6 employees (5 programmers and 1 quality manager) specializing in SharePoint technology.

Arcadia, Inc., one of the leading developers of custom software in St. Petersburg, has announced release of Anacta Tools — a set of applications distributed as freeware, which should make life easier for software development managers. The tool kit includes Anacta Book, Anacta Time and Anacta Metrics — easy-to-use applications for accurate calculations, storage and comparisons of work-time statistics and source code metrics for different projects and project stages. New summer internship program for SPbSU ITMO Quality Assurance students started in Arcadia Inc. The program is part of continuing (since 2000) co-operation between Arcadia, Inc. and the St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (SPbSU ITMO, former LITMO) aimed at raising quality of education for IT-students.
