New summer internship program for SPbSU ITMO Quality Assurance students started in Arcadia Inc. The program is part of continuing (since 2000) co-operation between Arcadia, Inc. and the St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (SPbSU ITMO, former LITMO) aimed at raising quality of education for IT-students.
Every summer best 4th-year students from the group which has taken a course in software testing come to the company to get a 2-week work experience. Later, the best ones get a proposal from Arcadia, Inc. to continue working in a company: at first, on a part-time basis, and after graduating the institute – as a full-time worker. Some Arcadia’s present employees came here several years ago for such student internship and continued working in the company.
