The group of EMBA students from Cass Business School of London made a consultancy project for Arcadia Inc. within the bounds of the studying program.
The group consisted of five professionals: Gerald Ellemier (Product Controller and Financial Analyst), Guy Schochet (Software Development Manager), Simon Solomon (Head of Agent & Affinity Sales), Yifat Steuer (Regional Business Plan Manager) and John Lawless (Corporate Treasury Senior Manager).
The project’s main task was to determine the steps to make the company more attractive for potential investors. The specialists carefully analyzed the specificity of the company’s activity; financial, marketing and legal issues; competitive sphere etc. and came up with a number of efficient actions in order to increase company’s attraction for investors.
Following the studying program scheme the students made a report on the conducted research which contains the analysis of the current situation and recommendations for the management.
Arcadia was totally satisfied with the results of the students’ research and the fruitful cooperation with Cass Business School in general. This mutually beneficial partnership gives the opportunity for the students to practically use their skills and work in the live environment, and for the company to get vital recommendations of highly experienced professionals, executive managers in different business fields.
It’s necessary to add that a group of EMBA Cass Business School students did the similar practical work for Arcadia last year. They conducted the research on the current situation in the company and made recommendations concerning short-term and long-term strategy. The students also came up with three probable development scenarios.
