MobileMonday* Global Summit / MoMo St.Petersburg took place in the A.S.Popov Central Museum of Communications, in the very heart of St. Petersburg, near the St Isaac's Cathedral. Arcady Khotin, General Manager of Arcadia Inc., the founder and initiator of MoMo St.Petersburg, says: "I like the format of these events, when colleagues from the same or close industries encounter in informal atmosphere and have an opportunity talk shop or just chat about their common problems and accomplishments in person".

Fifteen hundred professionals, leaders from mobile business from around the world attended the conference at the Wanha Satama Fair Center in Helsinki, Finland and then a lot of them came to St. Petersburg, Russia (www.mobilemonday.ru). They were sharing ideas, best practices and trends from global markets.
The welcome speech was given by the founder of MobileMonday Jari Tammisto (Helsinki, Finland). Then Arcady Khotin took the floor and gave background of the history of the event and made the presentation "From near-shoring of mobile projects to implementation".
By means of holding such events virtual and live networking environment is created all over the world to help mobile professionals to develop cross-border business cooperation.
*Mobile Monday was founded in 2000 in Helsinki, and since then it has been held monthly in different parts of the world, in more than 40 cities across the globe (USA, Europe, Latin America, Asia).
