Events like ROSS help consolidate the market players, foster the knowledge exchange, raise the awareness of Russian developers' capabilities, and promote Russia's popularity as an outsourcing destination. The Russian Outsourcing and Software Summit has definitely become the largest event in IT outsourcing and software development in Russia and CIS. For several days, the Summit brought together the leading software development companies from the former Soviet Union and other countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
Consortium "Fort Ross" came up with a new initiative for the Finnish and Scandinavian markets. The Fort-Ross member companies that focus on Scandinavian and Finnish market united in the Scandinavian Group to better service their customers from these countries. Ardin Software Oy, Finnish sales, marketing, and project management company, established by Arcadia, Inc. in 2002, will become the Scandinavian Group's outpost in Finland. Ardin will promote and market the services of the Scandinavian Group.
