Key problems

The customer, a medium sized IT company, has a rather complicated internal information system based on MOSS portal which had to migrate onto a new platform. Thus, maintaining smooth operation of the system during migration, when all info had to move, and every user checked existing and new functionalities, access rights and other features, was a challenge. This led the management to conclusion that the internal technical support process should be overhauled, automated and optimized to raise productivity and reduce time needed to solve arising problems.

Solution

To solve the problem, Arcadia’s team used MOSS and Windows Workflow Foundation technologies. This allowed it to integrate fast and successfully with the existing company infrastructure upon realization. The team helped the customer to elaborate fast and flexible process of fixing all kind of problems during data migration and further operation of the system. In result, the company painlessly migrated to the new platform.
